The tribe of Levite upheld the laws of the Old Testament

The tribe of Levite upheld the laws of the Old Testament, it’s hard to preach the law because it wages war. Yet, it’s in the DNA of the preacher and written on the hearts of all God’s people.

Not because we are "wise and understanding," but by the "gracious will" of God the Father, whom "the Son chooses to reveal". (opens the spiritual blind eyes) (Matt. 11:25-27).

Some are blind to the gospel saved by His grace and although Judeo-Christians have (old spirit man) died and been raised through born again Baptism, we still find the “law waging war" in our bodies, that is, between our old man Adam and the new spirit man united in Christ. (Rom. 7:23).

By the Spirit, we "desire to do what is right," but we are often not able to do so because "nothing good" dwells in our sinful flesh (Rom. 7:18).

I wrote the following in Song format but I am still struggling to write music so, read it like a poem:

"Thanks to God, through the Holy Spirit who delivers me daily by grace - from this embattled body of war and death, my God reigns, my God reigns

Rom. 7:24-25 paraphrased for song).

Rejoice in Him, our groom and King, who came righteous speaking in peace to our embattled hearts He fortifies our strengths and by the tree, His love sets us free.  (Zech. 9:9 paraphrased for song).

Though our labors, heavy laden but by His Spirit embraces us to comfort. In composite unity (made one with Him) His mercies He dispenses, grace and rest to our souls. (Matt. 11:28). Paraphrased for song by Jonathon
